June 16-23

Ok, I have set my plan for our first week of summer fun! I tried to set up a week with a mix of less intense and more intense activities. We also have one excursion planned. Here are my activities, in no particular order, and a list of materials needed. We are so excited! As we do them, I will update the blog to let you know how it goes. If you do any, let me know of any tips you find out!

  1. Make a bird feeder. You'll enjoy the fruits of your labor all summer while bird watching
  2. Star Eco Station
  3. Make GIANT bubbles. Poke a hole in the bottom of a paper cup, or cut off the bottom of a water bottle. Dip. Blow. Use homemade bubble solution too!
  1. Tear drop volcanoes. Put baking soda on a tray. Fill paper cups with vinegar and food color. Use a dropper to create fizzy foam!
  2. Mini Marshmallow construction. Give them toothpicks and you've got a good hour of down time.
  3. Marshmallow Popper
  4. Build a fort!
  5. Writing your ABC's in shaving cream.
